Short answer: the AeroGarden Harvest is a simple 6-pod hydroponic garden with an LED on an automatic timer, water and plant-food reminders, and up to 12" of grow height. It suits beginners who want a few herbs or salad greens on the counter. Pick the Harvest Lite if you want to choose your own seed kit (it ships with none), the Harvest for a 20W light plus a seed kit and plant food in the box, or the Harvest XL for 18" of grow height. We have not tested the Harvest ourselves; this review is built from AeroGarden's official product pages and public sources.

What is the AeroGarden Harvest?

The Harvest is AeroGarden's 6-pod countertop garden. Plants grow from pods (a plastic basket and a grow sponge) above a water bowl; you add AeroGarden's liquid plant food, and a detachable LED on an automatic timer replaces the sun. A control panel reminds you when to add water and plant food. AeroGarden is owned by ScottsMiracle-Gro. The brand announced a wind-down in late 2024, then returned in 2025; Scotts now says AeroGarden is "back in business" with gardens and seed pods stocked.

What owners say

Reviews on AeroGarden's own product page are mostly positive. Common themes are easy setup, simple controls and good results with lettuce and herbs; one owner noted that the newer Harvest 2.0 circulates water whenever the light is on. As with any brand's own site, read these with some caution, and check independent retailer reviews too.
